This is a brief little checklist I had made for the week of Online Registration. A short, but clear list of things I would be needing to do, needed to complete and should be obtaining right before classes begin on September 14th.

Am I excited? Nervous? Uncertain?

The answer to that, would be YES to all three.

EXCITED, cause I am in Med School! DUH!!

Nervous, because this is an entirely new way of learning, even more so for a tertiary education.

Uncertain... Well, cause its Online classes, Online Platforms, and Online Examinations... And truth be told, ANYTHING and EVERYTHING can honestly go wrong.

Despite this, I am trying to see the other side of the greener grass. A more positive perspective and a motivation that would be pushing me to stay on the right track. The clear challenge of Online Learning would be STICKING to a schedule, maintaining a focus for learning and making use of the time you have at home. Like most of the world, I am stuck studying and revising at home.

Would home be an ideal place for me to do my study and revision? Truth be told, it is not. I much prefer a library or a quiet space. There is just one too many distractions in my house. The constant noise level of my family members chit-chatting and my loyal dog companion, whom feels the very need to come for visits in my room (now study space) to say hi every 2 hours so. She's cute, but the constant visits are adorably distracting.

Yet, a skill to be a successful doctor is the ability to adapt to new environments and accommodate space as given. I guess during this time, it is truly a skill to learn and polish up on. It will definitely come in handy of sorts in the future.. at least i hope so.

It is almost a completed checklist with just a few more things that I would need before the start of term. Hopefully it will all arrive, duly on time, more preferably before the 14th!This fall term (but really Spring for me, given where i actually am), I will be attending my Online Medical School Session at XXXXXX Medical University. I just have exactly 7 days left before it begins.

Wish me and my classmates luck!
